last week, my friend jordan and i went on a trip to longwood gardens.
first, we got sushi.
i don’t know if there are places like this elsewhere… it’s basically a huge, fancy garden, with big topiaries, and a conservatory, and beautiful flowers everywhere.
they have events (like a play that was going on somewhere), and they have different displays hosted there off and on. this time, it was just called “light,” on display through september. i think i might get bored walking around the gardens, even though they are gorgeous. but these lights…
i think i want to leave the rest of the post for the photos. it was so impressive to think of all the work that went into this display! sort of insane. but it was gorgeous in the dark. there were a few different installations throughout the gardens.

I LOVE Longwood Gardens. I haven’t been there in a long while. Carrie and Patrick have gone there several times recently. Pretty pictures!!
